I hope everyone had a *great* weekend!
Thank you for all the movie advice - we ended up seeing SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. I was full of mixed emotions as I watched because it is very touching, sad, sweet, heart-wrenching, triumphant, etc. It's hard for me to watch a movie like this because even though the story line is fictitious, the "slum" atmosphere is very real and there are millions of people living like this. In all my travels around the world, I have seen this "slum" atmosphere in every single country and it's very sad and makes you feel helpless to do anything. So to be honest the movie was a {teensy} bit of a downer, and at the same time it showed that perseverance can triumph in the end...anyway, I don't want to give anything away, but I would recommend this movie if you haven't yet seen it.

On Friday, Lou Lou announced our stationery swap partners! I was so excited that I decided to go to the craft store after work to get some card-making supplies. $200 later (eek!) and I'm armed and ready to make the best stationery for my swap partner EVER! But just keep in mind that when I decide to do something, I go ALL out! Therefore, I felt the need to buy every single Martha Stewart sticker set, stamps, embellishments, ribbons...Haha! These are some pics of what I was able to do over the weekend!
Kinda cute, but I was luckily able to visit Paper Source and I found some adorable gifts for my partner so if I feel like my inner Martha fails to translate to beautiful work then at least I have a backup!

Last night, my Swee"tea" and I went to eat at PF Chang's. I capital L, love that place! I know there are much better Chinese restaurants out there, but my heart will always belong to the Chang. I had lemon pepper shrimp and the bf got sesame chicken (we shared of course).
