Jumping on the Fit Train - Week 6

a day late, but here goes...

Biggest Loser
Ugh, Arthur kills me.

I was very happy to see Q go.

These people need to realize that 9, 10, 11 pounds is A LOT of weight for one week. They should be grateful to be losing instead of upset that they didn't lose more.

I really like the new trainer Kara, and I think it's funny how the editing made it look like Jillian was "talking smack" to/about her.

I said it above, but Arthur is a moron. He is doing anything he can to stay there without putting in the effort. It is SAD that he lost only 9 pounds in a week because he weighs 435! I think Moses was in his weight range and he lost 100 pounds...in 5 weeks! The girls on the black team all lost 11, 14, 16 pounds and they're literally half of Arthur's size. He needs to shut his mouth and start working or he will be the next to go.

My favorite contestants are Courtney, Jenn, and Moses.

I'm hanging in there! I weighed in on Sunday and had lost an additional pound so I have lost a total of 3.5 pounds in 16 days. My goals is 2 pounds per week so I'm pretty much on track. Instead of pounds lost, I'm more focused on how my body is changing in terms of what exercise is doing for me. I generally do 45 to 90 minutes of cardio a day, including weekends, and I feel like my legs are really changing. My thighs are firming up, my muscles are more visible, and I just feel stronger. I also do several weight stations for my arms (which I have always hated, they look so flabby) and I'm beginning to get a little tricep muscle! I want to have toned arms for summer when I'm wearing tank tops. Lastly, I make a stop at the ab cruncher. My tummy area is where I gain weight, which is actually very dangerous for women. I think my core is getting stronger. I'm pretty sure I'll never have a six pack, which is fine, I just want to flatten that area out as much as I can.

This weekend is going to be tough because C and I are going out of town. We have vowed to use the fitness area at the hotel every morning though. Plus, we will be doing a lot of walking/sight seeing so I'm hoping that helps some.

I hate the biggest loser. I really do. I don't think it is motivating, I think it just showcases fat people as freaks. And Jillian Micheals is a bully.

But YOU are doing awesome!

After watching TBL last night I thought of you and was looking forward to reading your thoughts today! Arthur is bugging me too - he totally doesn't deserve to be there and I hope he gets kicked off soon...his numbers just aren't high enough. (Court is still my fave!)Also, I'm totally proud of you and C. Continue the good work!
