Thursday's Thoughts...on a Friday :)

*Thanks for all the great comments and encouragement on my last post! I'm so glad that I have all of you to hold me accountable in my fitness goals. It makes me not want to let you down!!*

*I also have to thank those of you that suggested I read The Hunger Games trilogy...I am ADDICTED! I've finished the first two and am halfway through the last book. I keep telling myself to slow down, but I am so into the story that I can't stop. Leslie Ann recommended these first, and I can't thank her enough (I tried to e-mail you Leslie, but you don't have an e-mail attached to your blog)!!*

*I've been seeing advertisements for McDonald's new Fruit & Maple Oatmeal so I thought I'd give it a try...big mistake! It is not very good. I'm very particular about my oatmeal, I like it on the drier side, and this was like mushy soup.*

*I have a big cupcake order for Saturday. It's a luau-themed birthday party and I'm really excited about what I'm doing with the cupcakes. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures and hopefully get them posted on the next weekend recap.*

*I can't believe that Hugh Hefner proposed to his girlfriend! What about poor Holly? I admit that I loved Girls Next Door when it was Holly, Bridget, and Kendra...they were the best! I did watch a few episodes with Crystal and thought she seemed really sweet and much better than those twins he was dating.*

Happy Weekend, Lovelies!

Just saw your comment on my blog! Thanks for noticing my missing email on my blog. I have it on my teacher blog, but didn't think about it when making my new blog. :)
I knew you would love the Hunger Games...I've made a friend of mine read them and also my little cousin...they both love them!
Who do you like better? Gale or Peeta?

Aren't they the best books? I love them! The third one is amazing, and you'll really enjoy reading the rest of it. I am waiting for the movie to come out, it'll be interesting to see how they put these on film.

Catching up on your posts :o) Happy New Year!
Way to be on sticking to your goals (I really have to start some exercizing!)
I went to the link you show to read what the Hunger Game Trilogy is about. I'm one of those readers that has a very hard time putting down a good story (I mean...I tend to want to read from cover to cover...so then making dinner, laundry, that day...kinda hard to focus on :o)... and if there is a series?? Ah yes, a cruise would be an ideal place to take a good book. :o) & when you do come upon a great series...dontcha wish there were more in the series?

Look forward to seeing your luau cupcakes :o) Our girls and I LOVE watching all the cake and cupcake shows and challenge shows. The girls have said over and over that it would be fun to have a cupcake shop.
Blessings & Aloha!

The Girls Next Door was better with Holly, Kendra and Bridget. They were always into something.....
Lots of luck with the cupcakes.

The Hunger Games really are as good as everyone says. I was a little skeptical before, but once you get into them they're impossible to put down. And I can only imagine how they're going to be able to turn them into a movie

I picked up The Hunger Games about two months ago because I'd heard they were great. Totally exceeded my expectations! I've already read the series twice. Glad to hear you're enjoying them too!
