happy friday!

Happy Friday! This week has flown by for me, I hope it's been quick for you too!

I don't want to dwell on this, but someone stole my beach cruiser from my back porch (in broad daylight) on Tuesday. I was so angry at first! I don't know why it was stolen or who did it, but they must be in a very bad place in their life. Thinking about that made me realize that I'm blessed enough as it is, and if someone needed my bike badly enough to climb over my back porch and take it, then so be it. I am confused as to how someone lifted it over the 6.5 foot ledge I have surrounding my back porch because it must weigh at least 35 pounds and it's very awkward shaped.

Goodbye pink bike, I'll miss you!

A sweet co-worker brought me the most beautiful roses from her garden. They are so pretty and smell amazing! Having them in my office instantly makes me feel happy!

Tonight, we are going to the movies! Fast Five is finally here :)

I'm sorry I've been quiet on the blog this week. Thanks again for all of the kind birthday comments! I will be announcing the giveaway winner on Monday, May 2 so this is your last chance to earn another entry! Have a great weekend!

I'm so sorry about your bike, but you are so gracious and sweet in how you deal with disappointment. I hope you'll be blessed for that!

That's terrible that someone would steal your bike from you! I am sorry that you have lost it, but your attitude about it is inspiring! Have a great weekend :)

Wow. I have to say, you have one of the best attitudes of anyone whom I have ever "met." If someone stole my bicycle like that, I would be so angry and hurt and crying and you are handling this with a lot of class and grace that I wish I could have. Love the roses. (Been absent from blogging a few days so I'm catching up now.)

I love your perspective -- you have blessed the world by refusing to be a victim!

You will be blessed richly in return!

OH! I'm sorry to hear about your bicycle! When something like that happened to me or one of kids, I feel the same...that you feel sad that someone would feel that they have to take from someone.

I hope that your day is filled with as much blessings and happiness as your sweet self deserves!!!

Blessings & Aloha!
Oh and I have not been around blog reading much...I'm sorry for this late birthday greeting! Hugs!!!

I am so sorry about your bike! It was so cute and it is so sweet of you to think that who ever went through the trouble to take it must really need it!

Ohhhh, that's just terrible. When I lived in Santa Barbara, my bike was stolen and I cried for DAYS. So sad. Good for you for trying to stay upbeat. You are completely right-- they must have needed it more than you. So sorry dear.

I am so sorry about your bike :( I really hope that the person that took it really needed it since they went through all that to take it.

The roses are beautiful though and I hope that you enjoyed Fast Five.
