vlogging is hard...
I just want you all to know that I really, really, really want to do a video blog to announce the winner of my Hawaii giveaway. And it's not for lack of trying that it hasn't happened because believe me, I've tried! I think I've driven C crazy with all the "tries" and I still can't get it right. First of all, anytime I find myself in front of a video camera, I freak out...big time! I can't handle it! I have no problem with getting my picture taken or making speeches/presentations in front of my boss or classmates, but when a video camera is within 100 yards of me, it's over. Not to say that I haven't improved because anything that's not 5 straight minutes of giggling or 30 seconds of sheer silence and panic is improvement in my eyes [both of which I may or may not have done Friday night while practicing].
So the point of the story is that it may be a long time before I ever successfully film my video blog or before I convince C to start the video over "one more time"...whichever comes first! I am going to keep trying, but if I can't get it soon, I will just announce the winner the old fashioned way. How boring, right? :)
Wish me luck!

Girl I am SO with you! Vlogging takes courage- courage that I just don't have. Hearing my own voice bugs me out and seeing myself that close is just too much! Good luck- I'm excited to see it when you're done. You'll motivate us all to do one! xoxo
I think of vlogging as a whole different art. It's not the same as saying the stuff you were gonna write, ya know?
Blogging is, IMHO, a new, creative literary art.
I love reading more than watching TV, ergo, i prefer the blog to the vlog.
So blog away!
Ugh, I can not do it. lol. I even hate to hear my southern accent on the 30 second blips of jackson I put on the blog. Good Luck next time. I am sure you will be charming as ever.
LOL, I hate to hear my voice....sound like a country girl/redneck:)
Good Luck:)
Ms Sweet Tea,
ANYWAY I can have an installment of your blog, I will take. Blog or vlog, whatever!!
Have a good one.
BroncoMom
Just checked out your blog...love all your posts!!
Oh I totally understand!!!! I can NOT or let's say rather NOT be in front of a video camera! When our son was the 2007 Children's Miracle Network child ambassador, we had to do several video clips for the local tv station and also when we were in Orlando for the national taping. I would rather be the one supporting and listening to my hubby and son... And so, they still play the various tapings from that time, during each annual local CMN fundraiser! (so there I am again!)
I am sure that you would do a great job! You are too cute! :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
(This Thurs, we are flying for Hawaii!!!! Oh, I want to check out one of the eating places you went to...is any of them near the Airport? Or which is closest? We have about 4 hours on Oahu, before we catch our flight to his family on the Big Island).
