Update!

Thanks for the thoughts and well wishes on Tuesday's post! Just to let you know, I was able to pick up my car Tuesday afternoon after paying the $243.80. When they drove it out of the lot, there was a big, fat parking ticket on it to the tune of $150. Lesson learned. Unless you want to pay $400 to the city of Los Angeles, be careful where you park and always read all of the posted signs.

The story is actually much more complicated and has to do with my new apartment manager not providing me a usuable space in the garage, but I really don't want to get into that. I'm just happy that I have a mode of transportation and a supportive boyfriend and family who help me get out of jams like this.

Needless to say, Tuesday had me feeling frustrated and angry. I couldn't concentrate on anything but the situation at hand and work was particularly unproductive. When I feel like this, I like to cook. It helps me calm down and relax. So after work, I went to the grocery store for some supplies and found this:

I couldn't believe that the Lilly Pulitzer / Florida's Natural juice carton was in my local grocery store! I had hoped to find it, but really didn't think it would make it's way to Southern California. I detest grapefruit juice, but of course I had to buy it anyway. Now I can stop looking for it in every grocery store I go to :)

I also got these beauties to help cheer me up:

So I think this post marks my return back to the blogging world {I really wasn't gone anyway} and I'm so excited about it! Last night I turned in my 15 page paper for my class and gave a short presentation. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders! Now I have a short time to relax and next week it starts again with two new classes. AND...the technicians are coming to the apartment today to install our cable/internet and I'll be able to blog from the comfort of my living room couch. I will definitely try to post some pictures of our new place as well.

Have a great Thursday lovelies!

I'm so sorry about the car, but hopefully you are all done dealing with that. It must have felt like such a relief to turn that paper in.

The flowers are so pretty and enough to cheer anyone up :)
