i'm irritated.

Warning: Please skip if you don't want to read my whiny frustrations...

I am sick and tired of providing excellent ebay service to buyers and not getting any positive feedback in return. Honestly, how hard is it to take 30 seconds to say thanks for the great service?! And then on top of that, I'm sick of buying items from sellers with crappy communication. Don't people know that communication is key in any business transaction? Apparently they didn't read that part of the ebay handbook...

If you buy on ebay take one second to think about the work that the seller goes through to make a listing, upload photos, wrap a package up, print a shipping label, enclose a thank you card, AND stop by the post office to drop your item off. Plus, ebay charges ridiculous seller's fees. And if you are a seller, think of how nice it is to have peace of mind knowing when your item has shipped and when it is expected to arrive.

How difficult is it to have some ebay etiquette?
That's all.

PS - I'm super excited that I won The Design Girl's giveaway for a new dog collar and matching leash for YoYo {provided by Lucky Fiona}!!

PS 2 - Another giveaway will be announced tomorrow morning at 9 am EST.

I also hate this! Honestly it's why I was so excited to see your "blog sale". Good communication, fast shipping. (and I love the dress by the way!)

Hope you win the cute collar for the fur babies. :)

Oh, I hear ya! I only sell on Ebay when I have to. I've been using Craigslist, but lately people have been saying they want things and flaking on me!

I hear you too, I'm both a seller and buyer. I love leaving feedback and rarely have a bad experience buying. I just wish I knew that MY buyers felt the same way, I hardly ever get feedback! I"ll even go as far as email them and ASK for the feedback. Frustrating!

I agree, people are alaways quick to complain BUT rarely ever comment with a nice compliment!

I hate that you are having to go through all that. It stinks that people out there don't have the same respect and manners that other people do! :(

You are too nice of a person for people to do you bad!! You rant and rave all you want! :) I personally don't buy off of ebay but I do on Etsy and I always leave feedback on items I purchase! Thanks for the reminder! Very important!!

I always leave positive feedback when I make purchases off of eBay and have a good experience. I just think that it's proper etiquette.

I'm sorry that's happening!

I haven't done much ebay shopping/selling lately but I do know that that is frustrating. I'm sorry you're having to deal with it. Maybe put a disclaimer on your item description that you expect good communication. ha ha!

Ah, just a few of the reasons I avoid ebay like the plague!

so frustrating...esp. when you are trying to build up a good reputation as a first-time Ebayer, like me. Grrrr....thoughtless people....

Yeah Ebay has gotten a little out of control. I am so tired of getting a threatening e-mail when I leave neutral feedback-- for something that should have gotten negative!

I know a lot of girls are selling their stuff through their blogs now because of Ebay's difficulties! I don't know why someone wouldn't help another out by leaving positive feedback. They're so quick to leave the negative, afterall!!
